Ending Silence. Preventing Abuse.
Empowering Lives.

The WHOSAW Foundation is dedicated to protecting women and children through education, prevention, and access to critical, life-changing resources.

About Us

Protecting.
Educating.
Connecting.

The WHOSAW Foundation was created to close the gaps that leave victims unprotected. We believe prevention starts with awareness, education, and access to the right resources at the right time.

We connect individuals and families to trusted local and national resources directly through our platform—making support easier to find when it matters most.

We actively educate communities by working with both children and adults through safety and prevention outreach. Our programs are designed to increase awareness, build confidence, and help individuals recognize and respond to unsafe situations.

We also partner with businesses to provide workplace workshops and training focused on creating safe, respectful environments free from harassment and misconduct.

We understand we cannot prevent every situation—but we can prepare people before, support them during, and guide them after. Our mission is to help individuals navigate difficult experiences, reduce risk through education, and ensure no one is left without support.

Because no one should have to face a crisis without guidance, protection, or support.

The Reality We Face.

Abuse, harassment, and trauma don’t end in the moment — they ripple into homes, workplaces, and families. Many are left without safety, stability, or support. Awareness matters. Action matters more.

 Abuse & Violence

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men experience severe physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.

  • Nearly 80% of abuse cases involve repeat incidents
  • Survivors are 2–3x more likely to experience abuse again
  • Many endure multiple incidents before seeking help
  • Without resources, the cycle often continues

Workplace Harassment

Over 70% of workplace harassment goes unreported, often due to fear of retaliation, job loss, or lack of support.

  • 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men report experiencing workplace harassment at some point in their careers
  • Nearly 75% of employees who experience harassment never formally report it
  • Retaliation is the most commonly reported workplace issue, accounting for over 50% of EEOC complaints
  • Many victims leave their jobs rather than report harassment, leading to financial instability and career disruption
  • Harassment affects productivity, mental health, and workplace culture, often impacting entire teams—not just individuals

Sexual Violence

Every 68 seconds, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted.

Impact on Families

Many survivors — especially single parents — face financial instability after an incident, including:

  • Loss of income
  • Housing insecurity
  • Food insecurity
  • Limited access to support systems

 The Hidden Reality

A significant number of survivors never seek help — not because they don’t need it, but because they don’t know where to turn.
